President al-Assad Issues Decrees No 78 and 79 on Assigning Chairmen of the Provinces and Provinces' Cities Councils

DAMASCUS, (SANA) – President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday issued Decree No.78 on assigning the chairmen of the provinces councils.

President al-Assad also issued Decree No.79 on assigning the chairmen of the provinces' cities Councils.

Earlier, President al-Assad issued decrees no. 14 and 15 for 2012 which included the names of the winning candidates in the membership of provincial councils, according to the local council elections which were conducted on December 12, 2011.
