Russian humanitarian aid distributed in Tartous

Tartous, SANA – Two tons of flour and 435 food packages provided as aid by Russia were distributed in the coastal Tartous province on Thursday.

A representative from the Hmeimim-based Russian Coordination Center said the aid targeted the locals in al-Hisheh area, where the amount of flour was delivered to the bakery there.

Russia has provided hundreds of tons in aid to needy people in Syria over the past months.

Russian and Syria aircrafts also drop aid in cities and areas besieged by the terrorist organizations, including Deir Ezzor city in eastern Syria and the towns of Kefraya and al-Fouaa in the northern Idleb province.
