Lavrov: Moscow proposed to Washington a tangible plan to solve crisis in Syria

Moscow, SANA-Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Moscow has proposed to Washington a tangible plan for the settlement in Syria, hoping the US would soon answer to the plan.

“Washington has asked Moscow to help solve the crises in Syria and Ukraine after the US became desperate due to its polices,” Lavrov told Russian Moskovskij Komsomolets gazette in an interview.

He added the Americans are trying to hold Russia responsible for what is happening in Syria and Ukraine, but, Lavrov adds, “They rush to us asking help to solve the crisis in Syria and guarantee a cease-fire.”

“During our contacts with Washington, we have suggested a remarkable scheme and they are studying it now,” Lavrov said, hoping these suggestions would take no long time to be discussed in Washington.
