Syrian national football team loses 0-3 to Japan in joint Asia and World Cup qualifications

Muscat, SANA- Syrian national football team lost 0-3 to Japan on Thursday in the match held in Muscat within the 5th group of the joint qualifications for World Cup in Russia 2018 and Asia Cup in UAE 2019.

The first leg of the match ended with 0-0, while the Japanese team scored three the three goals in the second leg at the 55th, 76th and 88th minutes of the match.

With this result, the Japanese team came first, raising its points to 10, while the Syrian team retreated to the second place with 9 points, Singapore came third with 7 points, Afghanistan is fourth with 3 points and Cambodia in the bottom without any point. .

Earlier, Syria’s national football team beat Singapore 1-0 , Afghanistan 6-0 and Cambodia 6-0.
