Armenian humanitarian mission completes removing mines in al- Burj village, Aleppo

Aleppo, SANA- The Armenian humanitarian mission to Syria has completed removing landmines and remnants of terrorism on an area of more than 10 hectares at al-Burj village in Khanaser area, southwestern Aleppo countryside.

“Over the past period, the Armenian humanitarian mission, in cooperation with the Russian coordination center, cleared landmines and remnants of terrorism in a number of areas which have been liberated from terrorism in Aleppo, and today the mission ended removing the mines in al-Burj village to secure it to enable the residents return to their homes,” said Dr. Abdul Qader Dawalibi, member of the Executive Office in Aleppo Governorate Council.

Head of the mission, Arkady Tonoyan said that the Arminian humanitarian mission also provides medical and humanitarian services to the local population and the number of beneficiaries exceeded 47 thousand patients, noting that all this is a translation and embodiment of the brotherly relations between the two friendly countries , Syria and Armenia.
