Aleppo, SANA-Minister of Presidential Affairs, Mansour Azzam, visited on Thursday Syrian historian and Researcher, Mohammad Qajah, at his home in Aleppo.
During the visit which was paid on behalf of President Bashar al-Assad and Mrs. Asma al-Assad, Minister Azzam conveyed President al-Assad and Mrs. Asma’s greetings to Mr. Qajah, wishing him good health.
Qajah was born in Aleppo in 1939 and he still lives in this glorious city. He is considered as one of Aleppo and Syria’s great figures, a lover for history, culture and heritage. Aleppo sons depict him as Aleppo second castle.
Historian Qajah presented a book around Aleppo, the capital of Culture, edited by him as a gift to President al-Assad and Mrs. Asma.
Mr. Qajah said that he has distributed more than 100 thousand editions of the book.
He was the Secretary general of Aleppo, Capital of the Islamic Culture Festivity in 2006, Consultant of UNESCOW in Syria in 2010 and the Editor-in-Chief of the Heritage Magazine.
