With participation of Syria, the Youth Summit of Non-Aligned Movement discusses youth issues and their empowerment

Baku, SANA-The Youth Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, which was held in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku during the period between 25 and 29 July, with the participation of Syria, adopted a decision to transform the Non-Aligned Youth Network that was established in 2019 into an international youth organization that adopts the movement’s ideas, principles and objectives and works to promote and develop youth in the 120 member countries of the Movement.

Head of the Central Organization and Rehabilitation Office at the National Union of Syrian Student , Ammar Kaadah who participated in the summit as a representative of Syria along with representatives of 61 countries from different continents of the world, said that the summit discussed many issues of youth and empowering them politically and socially and engaging them in development and decision-making positions in their countries in order to practice their important role in the public life of the Non-Aligned Movement countries.

The summit dealt with means of cooperation between countries of the movement, exchange of experiences, participation in various youth fields and activating the role of the movement in the regional and international arena, according to Kaadahs, stressing that the youth of Syria will have an active role in all cultural, social and development fields on the international and global arenas and forums.
