Health Minister discusses medical cooperation with WHO Director and Jordanian counterpart

Geneva, SANA- Health Minister, Hassan al-Ghabbash, discussed on Tuesday with World Health Organization’s Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean, Dr. Ahmed al-Manzari, ways to develop the health sector and improve the situation of healthcare services provided to the citizens.

During the meeting which was held on the sidelines of the plenary session of the 75th session of the World Health Assembly in Geneva, the two sides discussed developments and priorities related to health care in the region and the world.

The Minister also discussed with his Jordanian counterpart, Firas al-Hawari, means of boosting mechanisms of mutual cooperation between the two countries.

Activities of the 75th session of the World Health Assembly began on Sunday and will last until May 28th.
