Foreign Policy magazine calls on Washington to adopt a new policy towards terrorists in Idleb

Washington, SANA- The journalist in the American Foreign Policy magazine, Anshal Vohra, called on Washington to adopt a new policy regarding its position on terrorists, given the increasing dangers arising from their gathering in Idleb and its transformation into a capital of global terrorism.

In an article entitled” Idleb, the New Capital of Global Terrorism”, Vohra pointed out that Idleb has become the new capital of global terrorism, thanks to the Western policies, and that the organizations listed on terrorist lists see it as a safe and favored sanctuary of the terrorists to hide in it.

The journalist pointed out that the leader of the terrorist organization “Daesh”, Abu Ibrahim al-Quraishi, who was recently killed, sought to hide in Idleb near a checkpoint belonging to the terrorist of Jabhat al-Nusra linked to al-Qaeda and near the Turkish border, just like his predecessor Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who was killed in 2019 in a nearby area and that confirms Idleb’s transformation into the capital of global terrorism and into an international issue that requires a solution.

Observers affirm that the only solution is for the West and Washington to immediately stop supporting all terrorist organizations and restore Idleb to the authority of the Syrian state.

It is no secret to anyone that everything that is happening in the areas under the control of the terrorists in Idleb is under direct support and coordination from the Turkish regime, which is confirmed by the journalist when she noted that Washington left the Turkish regime to lead all the factions of terrorist organizations there, and that this regime coordinates and cooperates with Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham.

In the conclusion of her article, Vohra said that the US at the current stage is not yet sure what its priorities are with regard to the terrorist organizations in northwest Syria, stressing at the same time that this solution is not in the presence of the American occupation forces in Syria.
