Turkish regime arrests 39 women under alleged connections to coup attempt

Ankara, SANA- The Turkish regime authorities have arrested 39 women as part of the ongoing security campaigns that it is waging under the pretext of failed coup attempt in 2016.

The Turkish security forces carried out storming and arrest campaigns in Istanbul, Bursa, Manisa, and Zonguldak cities, and arrested 39 women under alleged connections to Turkish preacher Fethullah Gulen who was accused by the Turkish regime of standing behind the coup attempt, Turkish Zaman Newspaper said Thursday.

The Turkish regime’s authorities issued on Tuesday arrest warrants for 158 persons, among them military personnel under pretext of alleged connections to the coup attempt.
