Zürich, SANA- The Syrian national basketball team advanced ten degrees in the world classification issued by the International Federation, to become 82nd globally, 16th in Asia, and 8th in the Arab region.
The Syrian national team qualified for the Asia Finals after gaining second place in the qualifiers after the Iranian team, beating Iran, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
