Temperatures around average, showers expected over most regions

Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will remain around average or slightly above as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western and wet air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will continue to be clear to partly cloudy in general with a little opportunity for showers over the northern, coastal and al-Jazeera regions.

The weather will be cold at night over the mountains while the wind will be southwesterly with a low to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be low to medium in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 18/7, Daraa 18/8, Homs 17/5, Hasaka 17/7, Tartous 20/16, Aleppo 18/7, Deir Ezzor 22/8.
