Two QSD militants killed in explosive device blast south of Hasaka

Hasaka, SANA-Two militants from the US-backed QSD militia were killed after targeting a convoy of military vehicles belonging to the militia on al-Khurafi Road in Hasaka southern countryside with an explosive device.

Local sources told SANA’s reporter that an explosive device went off in a convoy of vehicles affiliated to the US occupation forces and QSD militia while they were heading for the Koniko oilfield in Deir Ezzor countryside as two QSD militants were killed and their bodies were transported to Hasaka City.

The sources pointed out that heavy damage was inflicted to a “Land Cruiser saloon” car, while the casualties among the US occupation soldiers were not known.

This attack comes less than 24 hours after a number of the militia’s members were killed and wounded in a similar attack on the same road.

The attacks on positions and movements of the US-backed QSD militia have escalated from several months ago, during which dozens of its gunmen have killed in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, Hasaka and Raqqa.
