Criminal Security in Hama arrests a person trafficking in antique pieces

Hama, SANA- The criminal security Department in Hama arrested a person who is trafficking in antique pieces and has a number of them.

A source at the criminal Security department said in a statement to SANA reporter that through monitoring and follow-up, a person was arrested in the village of Qubeibat Al-Asi in the southern countryside of Hama who was trying to trade in a number of antique pieces after he had bought them from several people who are doing business of excavations for archaeological objects for trafficking them.

The source pointed out that seven pieces of small stone statues and pottery pots were seized with the arrested person, indicating that the pieces were handed over to the Department of Antiquities in Hama province.
