Damascus, SANA- More than 281167 students of the Basic Education (9th grade) and Sharia preparatory school certificates on Sunday started to take their final exams in all the Syrian provinces.

In a statement to SANA Director of Exams Department at the Ministry of Education Yunus Fati said that the Ministry is keen on providing the opportunity for education to students in all areas and that it has taken all the required measures to guarantee the success of the examination process.

Fati indicated that the number of students who are taking the exams for the current year reached 281167 distributed among 2,269 centers.

He added that all the education directorates have completed preparations for the examination process in the optimal way.
