Aleppo, SANA – Upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, a government delegation headed by Prime Minister Imad Khamis started on Friday a work visit to Aleppo to inspect the economic and services situation in the province.
The delegation comprises 16 ministers and will start its first meeting on Friday evening at the Aleppo Governorate building to review the Organizational Chart of Aleppo city.
The delegation will tour the industrial city of al-Sheikh Najjar, the industrial zones, and a number of irrigation projects, silos, youth housing projects, and public and private sector facilities, which resumed work and production.
During the visit, the delegation will hold a series of meetings with industrialists and businessmen to discuss the economic situation and ways to improve it and to secure the production requirements.
Ministers of Public Works and Housing, Health, Economy and Foreign Trade, Industry, Tourism, Local Administration and Environment, Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Social Affairs and Labor, Electricity, Water Resources, Agriculture, Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Finance, and Higher Education are among the delegation, in addition to the State Ministers of Organizations and Federations Affairs and People’s Assembly Affairs.
