Russian Reconciliation Center: demine process continues in al-Boukamal  

Lattakia, SANA- Hmeimim-based Russian Reconciliation Center said work is continuous to dismantle landmines from al-Boukamal city after the Syrian army and its allies expelled Daesh (ISIS) terrorists from it, meantime, the humanitarian aid materials are being delivered to the civilians in all areas.

Head of the Center Sergei Kuralenko said, in a press conference on Friday, that the process of dismantling mines continue in the area which the army has regained control over in Deir Ezzor province, adding that the Syrian engineering units managed to clear the Central Square in al-Boukamal and demining the main streets in the city.

The Russian official pointed out that the Russian Military Police are securing the citizens’ movement on the borders of the de-escalation areas and offering humanitarian aid and medical services to the civilians.

He asserted that nearly 69 persons returned during the past 24 hours to their homes in Aleppo and Homs provinces.
