Borodavkin: Russia will continue to support de Mistura’s efforts to reach a political solution to the crisis in Syria

Geneva, SANA- Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN in Geneva Alexey Borodavkin announced that Russia will continue to support the efforts exerted by UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura to reach a political solution to the crisis in the country.

Borodavkin was quoted by Sputnik Agency as saying in a press conference on Saturday that “Moscow will continue to support the efforts of de Mistura and it is ready to make proposals.”

He reiterated the necessity of the representation of all the spectrums of the opposition at the intra-Syrian dialogue in Geneva.
